I offer a range of services in three main
fields, namely:
~ Radio, including project management and
training for community radio projects
~ Online communications, including website
design, management and training, using radio on the web
~ Research.
 Radio:
project management and training for community radio
projects
Working with a network of skilled
professionals, I offer a range of
management, editorial and training services for community radio projects,
including:
- getting started: involving local participants,
budgeting, fundraising
- radio production training, including ICT as
required
- editorial input in scheduling and programming
- webcasting
- working with volunteers
- press and publicity
- reporting, dissemination and evaluation.
I am particularly interested in projects involving women
and/or young people, and in projects using radio to build individual and
community confidence, to develop media literacy skills and as a tool for
regeneration and development.
 Online
communications: using
the web - design, management and training
I
can provide website design and
management, especially for clients who want html (text-based) sites which they can update in-house.
I can train clients in a popular
web authoring software package, such as Microsoft FrontPage or Adobe
GoLive, and support them in its use for as long as required.
Radio on the
web: I specialise in project websites which can be
created quickly and flexibly to accompany community media RSLs and online
broadcasts. I can provide support for projects using radio
on the web, either streamed live or as an audio archive.

Research
I offer the following types of research:

especially in the fields of radio, media access, international development
and women's issues.

especially in the field of children's use of media.
