Which 'third' of the world do you live in?Using grassroots community media to help reduce our global footprints.

How big is your footprint?  How many planets would be needed if everyone lived like you do?  If you're reading this online, your level of consumption is probably already putting the planet in ecological deficit.

Desi Radio Eco Team presenting at the Global Action Plan conference 'Involving Londoners in a sustainable London'This site offers a small contribution to the debate, with information and comparisons, plus concrete ideas for grassroots action and networking to help everyone reduce their own consumption.  In particular, it highlights and showcases the fast-changing middle third of the world - countries, societies and areas with a footprint around the mean:  what can they teach the 'developed', industrialised, heavy-consuming part of the world before it's too late?
