WebQuests from the National Museums Online Learning Project (NMOLP)
More information and links to the WebQuests

Nine museums and galleries are participating in the NMOLP.  These are the British Museum, Imperial War Museum, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Natural History Museum, Royal Armouries, Sir John Soane's Museum, Tate, Victoria and Albert Museum and Wallace Collection.  All the WebQuests incorporate resources from at least three museums/galleries. 

You can find out more about the WebQuests via any of the websites below.  Each website gives identical access to the full range of WebQuests and resources within them, whilst highlighting examples of WebQuests where that particular museum or gallery plays the lead role.

• Sir John Soane's Museum  examples include:  Write a Suspense Story (KS4)

• Tate  examples include:  Updating Cubism (KS3), Art as Protest (KS4)

• Victoria and Albert Museum  examples include:  Why Was Akbar Great? (KS3), Toys from the Past (KS1)

• Wallace Collection  examples include:  Exploring Light (KS2), Landscape in Perspective (KS3)
